Day One

We started off our course defining Media/Medium. We discussed it as being an extension of the human experience. As educators I think we often overlook this aspect and under estimate how much control we have over how will educate our students. We talked the importance of the ecology of education and that the environment really sets the stage for learning. I have been aware of this concept but I feel I have not given this enough time and thought. I look forward to seeing how this course will shape my ideas and open my mind to new creative ways to design a learning environment for all of my students.
